Before the glitz and glamor of a successful life, you must first set an intention to live that life. In these four simple steps, I’ll walk you through how to set an intention for achieving all your goals and dreams.

It’s one thing to think you’re setting an intention for your goals and dreams but it’s a whole other ball game to actually know and feel that you’re setting those intentions clearly. The pre-step before we begin is to have a clear idea of exactly what it is you intend to incorporate in your life.

 

Knowing what you want can be the most difficult part of creating a successful future. You might be influenced by social media and random advertisements around you that are telling you to be a certain way. To be 100% sure that the decision is yours and not influenced by others you’ll need to take some time for yourself.

 

Step away from the social world and step into your inner thoughts. What is it that you truly desire?

My intention is to have a fit and healthy body within the next six months by eating healthier and exercising more.

 

This intention is straight to the point with a set timeframe, all that is needed now is for you to do your research on how to achieve what you’ve intended.

Trust the process

The last and final step is to trust the process, you’ve set your intention and written it down, added it to your morning routine, given thanks for being able to set that intention in the first place, now it’s time to let it go and let the universe work on bringing your intention to your life at the opportune time.

 

Do not try to control when you believe the intention should manifest in your life. Trying to control your outcomes will only delay the progress. Once you let go and truly trust the process, the universe can work to give you what you desire.

Everything you desire will show up in your life if it’s beneficial to you, sometimes what you desire won’t bring you happiness so the universe won’t grant you something that will make you unhappy. Be mindful of the things you ask for because you just might get it.

 

Setting clear intentions will assist you in creating a life that you’ll never take a vacation from, that’s the ultimate goal.
