Another favorite of mine and, technically, a root not an herb, ginger is a great option for bringing energy into your mornings. Aside from keeping you awake, ginger can help relieve sore throat, gas and bloating, nausea, coughs and also fight flu and cold symptoms. I like it when my tea does more than just giving me energy when I need it the most and with ginger tea, you’ll definitely be getting way more than an energy boost

Before you decided to stick to one specific herbal tea for energy you should try them all to see which one gives you exactly what you’re looking for. 

 

Peppermint and ginger tea might be the best tea for me to drink but it might not be the same for you. We all have different preferences and our taste buds are all different.

 

Feel free to mix and match teas, if you like the flavor of one herb but love how the other makes you feel, mix them! You’re the one it’s benefiting so don’t let others discourage you from making your own concoction.

 

For me, the best tea to drink in the morning is a strong peppermint tea, it truly wakes up all my senses and sends a cooling sensation all throughout my body leaving me feeling energized and ready to start the day.

 

 

The best herbal tea for energy recipe

 

What you’ll need:

Peppermint 

Water

Agave syrup (optional)

 

Ingredients 

1 tbsp of peppermint 

8 oz of water

1 tsp agave syrup

 

Directions

Bring water to a boil and remove from the stove.

Add tea leaves and steep for 15-20 minutes. If you desire the tea to be stronger, add more herbs.

Sweeten with agave syrup and enjoy!
