Always Find A Reason To Laugh To Tears

Find any reason and laugh to tears

Laughter is truly the best medicine. Laughing until tears fall from your eyes fills you with joy and releases all of your pent up tension.

Sometimes you just have to laugh

Life constantly takes us on a roller coaster ride through lessons and blessings and the ride never stops. Having the ability to see the humor in every lesson will open the door more easily for the blessings to flow.

Laughter puts your body in a relaxed state and when you genuinely laugh your brain cannot think of anything else in that moment. All worries and endless thoughts stop. If you’re skeptical, try it the next time you laugh yourself to tears.

Always find a reason to laugh

A few days ago, while I was eating a grapefruit with a spoon, the juices from the grapefruit splashed all over my face, and immediately I began to laugh. I was standing in the kitchen with my face covered and my eyes filled with grapefruit juice laughing at myself. The splash happened so quickly I couldn’t do anything but find the humor in the moment.

After that laugh session, I realized that even though my first reaction was to laugh at myself, a lot of people would have been angry that they were covered in fruit juice, especially if it got into their eyes.

Laughter breaks up tension and keeps you in a pleasant mood. My goal is always to be in a good mood, especially on the days when I’m feeling blue.

Benefits of laughter

Massages Your Organs

A good belly rumbling laugh increases your oxygen intake which stimulates your heart, brain, stomach, lungs, and muscles. Think of laughing as a mini massage session that’s working your organs at the same time.

Soothes tension

Filmmakers use this technique very often: After an intense scene, there’s a quick tension release that is given to relax the audience. That release of tension triggers laughter. If you find that you’re tense, watch something funny, and examine how you feel after you’ve had a good laugh. I guarantee you’ll feel a lot better.

Dissipates negative energies

Negativity cannot expand wherever joy exists. Laughing your heart out creates a warming atmosphere for joy, love, and peace to thrive. If you ever find yourself in a situation where the thought of laughing is highly discouraged or even banned, your time in that place should be very limited if it cannot be completely avoided.

Relieves stress

Sometimes you just have to laugh in order to feel better. Laughing is a great stress reliever. It calms the body and releases the tensions caused by stressful situations. Stress hinders you from being your best self. Laugh away the stress and continue to be your fabulous self.

I encourage you to take the time you need to find something that will make you laugh to tears. Any chance that you get to watch a comedy tv show or movie, binge watch YouTube videos that dare you not to laugh, and roll on the floor laughing with friends, grab it, and don’t let go.
